Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held on April 27, 2010 (Tuesday) in the Marlborough City Hall, 140 Main St.  3rd Floor, Memorial Hall, Marlborough, MA  at 7:00 P.M. on the petition of the below named person seeking a variance(s) in the application of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Marlborough, as follows:

The applicant, Richard Gledhill is requesting relief from the following provisions of the Marlborough Zoning Code, Chapter 650 for an existing driveway which is in violation of the following codes:

1.      Chapter 650-47(E) – Street frontage planting area
                (1)(a)([1]   Location and width
                (3)     Planting in right-of-way

2.      Chapter 650-48(B) – Application of parking requirements
                (1)  Approvals and Permits required
                        (a)  Site Plan Approval required

3.      Chapter 650-48 (C) -  Location and layout for parking facilities
                (5)  Parking setbacks   (a)[1]  Parking in front yard.

4.      Chapter 650-48(D) – Construction of parking and loading areas
                (1)   Paving Type

5.      Chapter 650-49(B) – All Driveways
                (1)(a)                   Road Opening/curb cut permit required

The applicant requests that the Board grant variances that will allow him to retain the paved portions of the property without modifications or with minimal modifications.  The property in question is located in Zoning District A-3, being Map 84, Parcel 67A of the Assessor’s Maps.  Also known as 129 Pheasant Hill Rd.
